Optimum PLL settings for Phase Noise Measurements with the R&S®FSUP

The application note has a focus on the theoretical background of the PLL measurement method and illuminate its application in the R&S FSUP. Based on measurement examples on different sources, the loop settings for optimum measurement performance are discussed.
