Services : Technical Service Lead

Your tasks

• Working within the service team to deliver and maintain customer hardware equipment and systems in service lab located in North Ryde Sydney as well as at customer sites. This involves mainly calibration on RF Test and measurement equipment as per appropriate engineering specifications, as well as but not limited to repairs, answering customer technical enquiries.
• Expanding existing calibration service capability
• Overseeing technical competence of the lab including quality delivery of calibration and repair activities in house or at customer site
• Regular staff training covering ESD, test methods, software operation, etc.
• Conducting Service meeting quarterly
• Managing technical support to external or internal customers
• Analyzing in house reference equipment and new product capability investment needs
• Documenting all engineering support and investigation work to a high standard with ERP system
• On-customer-site Calibration project planning including test method design, system design, define required systems/tools, test templates and software and lab rehearsals
• On-customer-site EMC system commissioning or system calibration
• Onsite BBA amplifiers emergency repair
• Distributing daily work schedules to lead the team to appropriately factor volume, priority, customer expectations, and service centre goals into decision making processes.
• Service Asset management: monitoring/scheduling checks and calibration
• Take the lead to ensure our service and calibration activities comply with ISO 17025 & ISO9001 (technical audit related matters and scope extension).
• Developing and updating automated calibration systems for a range of the RF products

Your qualifications

• Degree in engineering, ideally RF, Electrical/Electronics/Radio Telecommunications/Mathematics.
• Relevant industry experience in a team lead or service delivery role.
• Demonstrated skills in interpersonal relationships, written and verbal communication, planning and organization and teamwork.
• Interstate travel is required
• ISO17025, ISO9001 and NATA experience
