Your tasks
- 1. Financial Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments promptly.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents. 2. Accounts Payable (AP):
- Handle vendor invoices and ensure timely payment.
- Verify the accuracy of invoices and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain good relationships with suppliers. 3. Accounts Receivable (AR):
- Generate and send customer invoices and statement of accounts.
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with clients.
- Record incoming payments accurately. 4. General Ledger (GL):
- Post journal entries to the GL.
- Prepare listing, trial balances and financial statements.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures. 5. Financial Reporting:
- Prepare regular financial reports (e.g., profit and loss statements, balance sheets).
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.
- Present financial information to management or stakeholders. 6. Tax Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Assist in preparing tax returns.
- Keep track of tax deadlines and payments. 7. Audit Support:
- Collaborate with auditors during internal or external audits.
- Provide necessary documentation and explanations.
