Software Development : Director of Software Development (m/f/d) for Protocol Stack and Framework

Your tasks

• You are responsible for the software development of the upper layer protocol stack team, who provide 5G/6G signaling test solutions in our products.
• You manage product and technology implementation milestones and budget, including support from internal and external interfaces such as product management, to ensure profitability and effective time-to-market.
• You drive development efforts, successfully initiate and promote strategic and operational changes, and implement them.
• You continuously support your employees, identify potential in the team, develop talents, and create career perspectives.
• In your area of responsibility, you engage in personal interactions with our key customers and ensure that the highest quality and product functionality levels are maintained, taking into account time and market requirements.
• You continuously promote interdisciplinary cooperation between teams, divisions, and international R&D sites.

Your qualifications

• You have a degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• In your previous role as a technical manager, ideally from the telecommunications industry, you have demonstrated exceptional leadership and mentoring skills.
• Your background and interest in modern, agile software development methodologies and tools distinguish you.
• Your approach to fostering innovation is exemplary; you promote creative problem-solving, encourage continuous learning, and allocate resources for research and development, ensuring that your team stays at the forefront of technological advancements.
• You have a natural ability to inspire others and communicate effectively across teams and organizations.
• Your intercultural competence and excellent organizational skills further enhance your leadership capabilities.
• You have very good English skills and basic German language skills in speaking and writing.
