Summary
This role will play a pivotal role in leading the company through its mid- and long-term strategies that have impact on business results in alignment with parent/ corporate organization objectives, overseeing the financial operations of the company, developing financial strategies, analysing new opportunities and ensuring implementation and maintenance of financial control.

Your tasks
- Key responsibilities include supporting strategic financial leadership, financial planning & analysis, managing projects and conducting feasibility studies for new opportunities, risk management, compliance and accounting management across multiple business departments. Key Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Fully responsible for the Financial Controllership, Management & Strategy for Pakistan office
- Accounting & Accounting support for RSPK in line with the related accounting standards – and consolidation with RS Group (all – fixed assets, revenue, cost of sales, assets, liabilities, provisions, debtors, creditors)
- Planning & Budgeting – with inputs from ROHDE&SCHWARZ Corporate and the Region Management detailing the financial and business plan for RSPK and monitoring of actuals vs plan for necessary proactive measures.
- Banking & Bank relationship with local banks – manage advising on the facilities – size / composition etc. in order to meet business requirements, monitoring the facilities.
- Financial inputs in all key management decision to ensure that the financial strategy is in line with the overall business strategy and needs of the business.
- Forecasts Company’s cash flow position, reviews related credit needs, anticipates challenges arising from late payments and cash flow situations, and recommends mitigation actions to Managing Director for decision making.
- Manage foreign currency risks in accordance with company policies and with RSM Corporate Treasury.
- Credit Management – ensure a suitable credit exposure strategy in line with the company policy and business needs.
- Financial & Strategic inputs in all key projects/ orders / business and in all general management of the company
- Financial analysis in various forms – finance cost for projects, project calculations, credit terms, sales office –wise reports of profitability, segment profitability studies, turnover estimate reports.
- Lead and develop the Finance Team. Ensure the resources are efficient and optimum in line with the business requirements, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluation.
- Leads analysis, planning and control of the organization’s financial transactions, systems, and procedures to comply with regulations, accounting principles and other internal/ external financial standards.
- Conducts periodic review of policy, procedures and practices, relevant to position, to identify opportunities for improvement and engagement in best practice
- Drive decisions based on data, create and continuously enhance dashboards and alerts to monitor changing risks and suspicious behaviors.
- Form a close working relationship with the Managing Director, BoD and other Senior Management
- Provide input in commercial contract negotiations with customers.
- Provide Reports to Rohde & Schwarz HQ and Rohde & Schwarz Regional Management
- Act as local compliance referent
- Act as company secretary
- Trade Finance: Issuance of Guarantees / Bonds as needed, negotiation of export LCs and supplier and business-related payments.
- Contribute fully to the development of company business and finance strategy across all areas of the business, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers
- Responsible for ensuring completion of all statutory, financial and internal audits.
- Responsible for managing all tax related matters in accordance with Corporate Policies.
