This Rohde & Schwarz presentation provides an overview about business-critical applications of private 5G networks and how passive and active network test solutions help verifying network performance and identifying and troubleshooting network issues. The interactivity test is an ITU-T standardized method to measure latency, packet delay variation and loss and as a prototype implementation also the service availability of a 5G network.

Rohde & Schwarz high performance solution to expand Malaysian spectrum monitoring capabilitiesThe Malaysian regulator has awarded Rohde & Schwarz a contract for a nationwide system of fixed spectrum monitoring stations that can be remote controlled at one national and five regional headquarters. Rohde & Schwarz will supply numerous monitoring stations to replace existing systems and establish new stations. All of them are based on the R&S UMS compact monitoring and radiolocation system with a new combined monitoring and DF antenna.

This application note and associated application software may be used to conduct psychoacoustic speech quality evaluation for Voice over LTE (VoLTE) connections. The measurements are based on recommendations ITU-T P.862 and ITU-T P.863. The included software sequence performs decoder/encoder calibration, connection setup for the UE under test and subsequent speech quality analysis.
