Rohde & Schwarz is proud to launch the R&S HES hardware emulation service, a revolutionary electronic intelligence (ELINT) and radar electronic support measures (RESM) training solution, at Euronaval 2024, the naval benchmark event from November 4 to 7, 2024, in hall 6, booth K59, in Paris.

In today's fast-paced and ever-evolving world of electronic warfare, staying ahead of the curve requires more than just technical expertise - it demands a comprehensive understanding of complex systems and their software suites. That's why Rohde & Schwarz is introducing R&S HES, a revolutionary training solution, designed to simulate real-world electromagnetic environments and prepare ELINT and RESM professionals for the challenges of the modern battlefield.

The hardware emulation service simulates real-world electromagnetic environments, allowing trainers to create realistic and dynamic training scenarios that prepare operators for the challenges of the modern battlefield. This comprehensive training solution combines signal and scenario generation with hardware emulation, eliminating the need for real hardware in training.

It offers a range of key features, including realistic simulation of electromagnetic environments, dynamic and adaptable training scenarios, and elimination of real hardware in training. These features enable trainers to reduce training costs and increase efficiency, while also improving operator familiarity with complex systems and software suites.

"We are excited to introduce the R&S HES hardware emulation service, which enables operators to train more effectively, reduce costs, and improve their overall performance," said Michael Niewöhner, Vice President ELINT/RESM, Rohde & Schwarz. "This innovative solution allows users to simulate complex scenarios, test new equipment, and train operators in a realistic and dynamic environment, all while reducing the need for real hardware and minimizing the risk of equipment damage or loss."

At Euronaval 2024, Rohde & Schwarz showcases its solutions and capabilities supporting naval and multi-domain operations by ensuring true spectrum dominance in all domains and along the complete signal chain. The company’s experts provide detailed information and engage in discussions on how Rohde & Schwarz can support future naval missions, whether above the surface or below.
