Software Development : C++ Software developer (m/f/d) for 5G+ wireless protocols

Your tasks

• You are responsible for specifying, designing, and implementing the MAC protocol software for our Rohde & Schwarz 5G/NR Mobile Communication Tester.
• The analysis of feature requirements and the design of the software subsystem are also part of your responsibilities.
• You will conduct code reviews with your team and contribute to configuration management.
• You will test your software and deliver meaningful results analyses.
• You will examine complex use cases and log files from both external and internal global clients.

Your qualifications

• You have completed a university degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field.
• You have experience in object-oriented software development and working with test environments for mobile communications and system integration in projects with significant sizes.
• Your ability in C++, including the latest versions is excellent.
• You have good knowledge of mobile communication standards, particularly 5G/NR, specifically layers 1, 2, and 3.
• You are proficient in English, both written and spoken.
