Shin Yew Khor Huawei Strategist of Digital & Technology Development

Has 19 Years of telecommunications industry experience, out of 13 years around Asia Pacific Regions. Has been at the forefront of 3G and 4G development cycles and its adoption to maturity. Has held various positions as an engineer, network planner, technology manager, and business development manager in telecommunications and IT industry.

As a strategist of Digital and Technology Development, he provides strategic technology direction to Malaysia celcos and telcos on business sustainability phase as well as analysis to the forthcoming trend of evolutions and disruptions.

Dr Anders Wännström is subject matter expert in LTE/IoT/5G for Ericsson in the market area South East Asia, Oceania and India. He is intimately involved in the introduction and evolution of new technology for the most advanced mobile broadband networks in the region. He has lived and worked for Ericsson in Sweden, Hungary, Australia and most recently Malaysia, spending eighteen of the last nineteen years in this region.

Dr Wännström received his Ph. D. at Uppsala University in 1989 with research in atomic physics and before he joined Ericsson, he worked with research in Sweden, the Netherlands and Australia. He has in collaboration with other researchers published some thirty peer reviewed articles.

Magnus Hylén is Technology Product Manager for Mobile Network Testing with focus on testing of new technologies such 5G NR, V2X and IoT.

He has been exploring mobile network technologies throughout his professional life – from first generation automatic analogue voice networks to today’s 4G and 5G multimedia networks. Magnus joined SwissQual AG and Rohde&Schwarz as Product Manager 13 years ago. SwissQual AG is a pioneer in mobile network and service benchmarking founded in 2000 that since 2012 is part of the Rohde&Schwarz electronics group. Prior to that, he worked 16 years with Radio Network development at Sweden's leading mobile operator TeliaSonera. He holds a degree in electrical engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.

Albert Huang is currently the Regional Operations and Service Manager for Mobile Network Testing in Asia Pacific. He has 11 years of experience and has been involved in Mobile Network Testing for 9 years as a Support and System Engineer, Project Manager and now the Operations. He is leading and mentoring a team of technical pre-sales up to after sales customer support.

His focus is on technical and market development. He is passionate about his work where he takes pains in understanding customer key requirements and architecting the solutions for them.

Albert holds a B.Eng (Hons) degree in Electronics Engineering, majoring in Information Communication from Nanyang Technological University.

Bob Ng is currently the HOD for Application, Service & Solutions at Rohde & Schwarz. With 15 years of experience in the test and measurement industry, he has been involved in a variety of market segments (e.g. wireless communications, industry, education, automotive, A&D, government etc) across a full breadth of lifecycle from R&D to manufacturing to field operation and maintenance.

His specialty is in applying multi technology across multi disciplines to create innovative solutions to solve challenges faced by customers. He is passionate about impact of technology, building innovation culture and raising the talent bar. He has recently presented at Launching of Malaysia’s 5G Showcase.

Bob Ng holds a B.Eng (Hons) degree in Electronics Engineering, majoring in Telecommunications from Multimedia University, Malaysia.

Anwar Faizd Osman was born in Georgetown, Penang. He received his Master Degree in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Sains Malaysia.

He is currently working as Regional Application Engineer for Rohde & Schwarz, responsible for Mobile Network Testing market segment. He has 14 years of working experience in the area of RF & Microwave, Wireless Communication and Mobile Network and Testing. His current work include network drive test, benchmarking, interference hunting and PIM testing, among others.

He is part of National 5G taskforce member, Chairman of the 5G Ecosystem and Timeline sub-working group, under the Spectrum Working group of the task force. He is also leading the study on the 5G and FSS co-existence in the 5G taskforce, as well as one of the authors of the Taskforce 5G C-band report and 5G mmWave report.

He is a senior member of IEEE and has actively served as IEEE Malaysia MTT, EDS and SSC committee member since 2015.
