At Rohde & Schwarz, we are deeply rooted in the world of education. As a company founded by two PhD students, our journey began in the halls of academia. Our commitment to education has only grown stronger with time, and today, we proudly maintain partnerships with educational institutes worldwide, actively shaping the future of engineering education.

We have decades of experience in producing innovative, market-leading test and measurement solutions. Our education portfolio covers a wide range of equipment for teaching labs: from the basics for introductory courses all the way to advanced instruments for student research.

Hands-on technology education

Rohde & Schwarz sponsors many student projects and competitions. Our test and measurement solutions were used by TUfast to develop the muc002 car, which broke the world record for the longest distance traveled by an electric vehicle on a single charge. We have also supported the HORYZN and LEVITUM drone development initiatives, and we offer an annual opportunity for Formula Student teams throughout Europe to win test equipment for e-vehicle test.

Our work is not limited to Europe. We collaborate with universities across the globe. With University Project Africa, we donated and continue to maintain lab equipment for several African universities. In addition, we work with these universities to initiate Hackathons and promote cross-university projects.
