The position directs the company’s overall global supply chain management strategies in RSASIA, which covers the key business operations of manufacturing and systems (engineer-to-order). It includes purchasing, inventory, logistics, customs and master data management.
Your tasks

- The position directs the company’s overall global supply chain management strategies in RSASIA, which covers the key business operations of manufacturing and systems (engineer-to-order). It includes purchasing, inventory, logistics, customs and master data management.
- Manages the departmental sub-functions within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-functions and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.
- Develops the sub-functions key competencies and capabilities to ensure the continuity of business operations and future challenges.
- Drive Business Administration Operations:
- Define and implement strategies for all aspects of the company’s global supply chain to achieve company's business objectives e.g. reduce costs, mitigate risks, optimize lead time, quality assurance, manage inventories etc.
- As a functional expert to the VP, Global SCM in R&S HQ (3CS).
- Establish sub-functional structures to support the business goals, which includes the development of teams' capabilities and integrating/leveraging on the global SCM capabilities.
- Development and upskilling of employees and talents.
- Build and lead high-performing teams, attract and retain talent, provide mentorship and guidance to the functional management levels.
- Front development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.
- Drive development of business continuity and succession management for mission critical roles that have financial impact to the organization.
- Foster a value-based culture and a culture of accountability on performance goals and behaviors in the organization.
- Drive development of resource and cost management optimization plans based on the market practice and business environment.
- Drive Business Development Operations:
- Cultivate strong relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders e.g. Product Management, R&D, Sales and Operations etc. to improve Product Lifecycle Management, realization of business projects, revenues and profitability.
- Key business partner to Procurement, in enabling them to ensure robust sourcing and supplier management strategies.
- Drive Business Process Improvement Activities and Change Management:
- Continuously develop/enhance supply chain productivity and operational processes, which includes implementing industry best practices for logistics, order management, material planning and purchasing, risk mitigation and inventory management.
- Provide overall and strategic leadership, develop long-term planning and lead to realize the organization’s growth agenda.
- Drive improvements to the organization’s operations through feedback and identification of issues.
- Drive Compliance Activities and Operations:
- Drive the organization’s governance, compliance issues and reporting, including but not limited to sound fiscal management.
- Drive Program Management Activities:
- Drive organizational transformation projects and programs development.
- Drive Data Analytics Operations:
- Develop and monitor supply chain effectiveness metrics and report regularly on supply chain performance in partnership with Finance & Controlling, Global SCM and key stakeholders.
- Utilizes data monitoring and analytics to evaluate performance, trends and forecast inventory and distribution requirements.
