How do I add a transducer for an 8-Wire ISN as to EMC32?

Question

How do I add a transducer for an 8-Wire ISN (e.g. ENY81) to EMC32? Correction data are available. So far I only have experience how to add a transducer to a slidebar, a 2-Line-LISN or 4-Line LISN.

Answer

It is possible, for sure. You can use typical values from the data sheet or calibrated values. For ENY81, you have to select he type "Transducer" from Device List.

Transducer in device list

Add this device to your list of "Configured Devices" and rename it according to your needs.

Configured devices

Open the device Properties and define the RF Parameters as follows:

Properties for RF parameters

For the "Measurement Correction" I do it in the following Way: I have defined "Additional Attenuation" with 0 dB and for the Transducer Configuration I have selected a "Transfer Characteristic". Here I have to select Transducer Correction Table for the device.

Transducer correction table

For sure, the Transducer Correction Table must have been created previously.

Create transducer correction table

From now, you can add the device to Hardware Setup.
