Rohde & Schwarz showcased a compact LTE 4x4 MIMO test solution at the GSMA Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona. Based on the new high-performance R&S®SMW200A vector signal generator and the R&S®RTO digital oscilloscope, the solution provides MIMO signal generation and realtime channel emulation (up to 4x4 or 8x2) as well as synchronous analysis of multiple TX antenna signals.
Virtual deembedding of the test setup from the measurement result The R&S ZNB have new deembedding options integrated into the FW, which can easily be run with the R&S VNA. As components are not always accessible via RF connectors deembedding is needed to remove effects of all kinds of fixtures.
The R&S®FSVR combines a full-featured signal and spectrum analyzer with a real-time spectrum analyzer. Therefore, it provides all the capabilities and features that modern test and measurement instruments of this kind have to offer. In real-time operation, the R&S®FSVR seamlessly measures and displays the spectrum in the time domain with a span of up to 40 MHz.
