The test setup, demonstrated in this video, operates at 82.5 GHz and is based on the R&S®AFQ100A baseband generator, the R&S®SMW200A vector signal generator and the R&S®FSW signal and spectrum analyzer.
The R&S®AFQ100A baseband generator and the R&S®SMW200A vector signal generator are used to generate a 39 GHz carrier frequency signal for the transmission. The R&S®FSW signal and spectrum analyzer downconverts the received signal and provides digitized I/Q samples to an external software tool to calculate channel impulse response and channel transfer function.
R&S®VISA is a standardized software library that allows fast communications over diverse interfaces with a wide variety of T&M instruments that are detected on the network from PC applications.
