The R&S®AFQ100A baseband generator and the R&S®SMW200A vector signal generator are used to generate a 39 GHz carrier frequency signal for the transmission. The R&S®FSW signal and spectrum analyzer downconverts the received signal and provides digitized I/Q samples to an external software tool to calculate channel impulse response and channel transfer function.
The test setup, demonstrated in this video, operates at 82.5 GHz and is based on the R&S®AFQ100A baseband generator, the R&S®SMW200A vector signal generator and the R&S®FSW signal and spectrum analyzer.
