If a monitor is connected to the DVI ports of the CMX the maximal resolution is 800 x 600 pixel.

The DVI port on the CMX should not be used for external monitors.
Please use instead the DVI port of the CMW that is connected with the CMX.
If only the external monitor is used, the maximum supported monitor resolution is 1920x1080 pixel.
In clone mode (identical contents and resolution on both displays), the maximum supported resolution is 800x600 pixel.
So setup in the graphic adapte settings that only the external monitor/display will be used.
