Rohde & Schwarz presents new microwave measurement receiver for stable, high precision level and performance calibrationWith the R&S FSMR3000 Rohde & Schwarz has developed a microwave measurement receiver to calibrate signal generators and attenuators with one single instrument. Most important features provided are tuned RF level measurements, level measurements, analog modulation and spectrum analysis. Additionally, the R&S FSMR3000 can be equipped with powerful hardware for high-end phase noise test supplementary to the standard phase noise test with the spectrum analyzer. It offers also digital and analog modulation signal analysis, 80 MHz analysis bandwidth, analysis of pulses and VOR/ILS signals. The R&S FSMR3000 as a single box instrument is designed to reduce the complexity in calibration capabilities for the A&D industry.
This document describes various methods to achieve optimized performance for such measurements. The availability of the methods depends on the CMW500 version.

The new demonstrator solution consists of the R&S®TSME ultracompact drive test scanner and R&S ROMES drive test software to enable over-the-air characterization of 5G network coverage. Both the high end R&S FSWP phase noise analyzer and VCO tester plus signal and spectrum analyzer in one instrument, and the R&S FSPN dedicated phase noise analyzer and VCO tester, are now upgraded. Simultaneous hardware and software upgrades improve the market-leading performance even further, reducing noise levels and measurement times, and increasing accuracy. Both analyzers include test sequence recording functions (SCPI recorder), unique for this class of instrument.
