Traceable calibration of R&S®NRP power sensors

The five modular R&S®NRPC calibration kits are used to calibrate R&S®NRP power sensors, as well as other makes, to a very high level of accuracy. Following calibration, the sensors are within the specified calibration uncertainties and usually remain below these uncertainties. Each calibration kit includes a highly accurate power standard that is traceable to primary power standards of the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB, Germany’s national metrology institute) by means of a calibration accredited by the Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle (DAkkS, Germany’s national accreditation body).

With the NRPC-LS, the linearity uncertainty specification is traceable to the National Metrology Institute of Germany, PTB. Within a calibration certificate bearing an accreditation symbol, the linearity reference standard is traced back to SI units.

The R&S®NRPC-LS facilitates linearity calibration of RF power sensors. The calibration frequency of 1 GHz is optimized for reliable verification of RF power detectors using various technologies. Moreover, the R&S®NRPC-LS is suitable for the linearity calibration of spectrum analyzers and network analyzers.
