Excellent displayed average noise level (DANL)  

The R&S®Spectrum Rider has a DANL as low as –146 dBm (typ.). A low DANL signifies the analyzer’s ability to capture weak signals. Turn on the preamplifier (option) to further increase the sensitivity to –162 dBm (20 MHz to 3 GHz). Preamplifier options:

  • R&S®Spectrum Rider FPH .02 model: R&S®FPH-B22;
  • R&S®Spectrum Rider FPH .06 model: R&S®FPH-B23;

The R&S®Spectrum Rider FPH has an ergonomic design, a small form factor and is lightweight. It comes with a convenient side strap to support your hand during the short measurement period. The holster (R&S®HA-Z322) comes with a harness that is carefully designed to equally distribute weight around the body for hands-free operation.

A single charge lasts for a day’s work  

The R&S®Spectrum Rider FPH battery can cover a full day of field work. When turned on, the battery takes 4 hours to charge. It charges faster when the device is turned off or with an external charger, where the charging time is only 3.5 hours.
