Key facts
The R&S®HE202 active receiving dipole features a very wide frequency range from 200 MHz to 1 GHz and compact size. Its high input sensitivity is the result of optimized matching of the passive antenna structure to the active circuitry.
These characteristics allow several passive antennas to be replaced by an R&S®HE202.
Similar to a passive antenna with high-grade preamplifiers, the active antenna is highly insensitive to nonlinear distortion.
Only one antenna needed for entire frequeny range
The antenna covers the very wide frequency range from 200 MHz to 1 GHz, allowing to replace several passive antennas using smaller subfrequency ranges.
For precise measurement results
Thanks to the sophisticated antenna design, the R&S®HE202 is highly insensitive to nonlinear distortion, similar to a passive antenna with high-grade preamplifiers.
For antenna protection
The antenna is protected against voltage surges from atmospheric discharges (e.g. lightning strikes).
For installation when space is tight
The very compact antenna design (length approx. 510 mm, height 240 mm) enables installation in tight spaces.
