Your tasks
- Analyze requirements, define DSP algorithms and optimize for real-time performances on FPGA hardware for radio communication measurement instruments.
- Design and implement efficient and optimized DSP algorithms for FPGA implementation, consider high speed and RF interfaces and constraints, while keeping to hardware schematics and interface protocols required.
- Perform simulations and verification of the DSP using software tools (eg: Matlab).
- Translate DSP algorithms into VHDL code for FPGA implementation.
- Perform synthesis, routing and timing closure for FPGA designs.
- Integrate FPGA designs with software and hardware components, including RF interfaces and ensuring signal integrity.
- Conduct hardware testing and debug FPGA design, troubleshoot complex hardware and interfaces issues.
- Document design concept, algorithms and test procedures.
