With FlexPower
Get maximum power at various operating points. Unlike single-range power supplies, variable voltage and current combinations can be generated within an overall power limit.
With EasyArb
Generate complex time varying output voltage or current sequences with the EasyArb function to emulate normal power subsystem behavior early in the design process or simulate power problems for DUT design verification. The EasyArb function lets you generate time varying output voltage and current sequences with dwell times down to 10 ms.
Every millisecond
Logging data is vital to long-term monitoring, reviewing test setups and repeating test conditions to analyze power behavior or optimize power consumption. R&S®NGC100 power supplies simultaneously log voltage and current measurements over time on all outputs with a maximum acquisition rate of 1000 samples/s. Easily export the time stamped data as a CSV file for analysis, reports and documentation.
With parallel and serial operation
Each output in the 2-channel and 3-channel models is completely isolated for maximum flexibility. Use the channels independently or combine them in series to increase the maximum voltage to 96 V, or in parallel for up to 10 A of current. The full galvanic isolation means that channels can be connected to supply balanced circuits without any need to think about grounding.
Up to 96 V with the R&S®NGC103 power supply
With EasyRamp
Some test setups require a continuous rise in supply voltage instead of a rapid jump to control inrush currents. Increase output voltage continuously within 10 ms to 10 s with the EasyRamp function.
With output delay
Turn on each channel individually with a delay to meet requirements for modern micro controllers with multiple supply voltage levels and demand-specific power up sequences.
Using remote sensing
Improve voltage regulation and measurement accuracy with remote sensing. Regulate output voltage directly at the DUT input terminals instead of the power supply. The sense function compensates for voltage drops in supply leads, especially in applications with high current levels. R&S®NGC100 power supplies provide sense connections for each output.
Using remote sensing to compensate for load lead voltage drops
With an external trigger
An external trigger signal (TTL) to the voltage interface on the back panel of the instrument can start an arbitrary function, activate and deactivate output delays or activate data logging.
With the analog control interface
Directly and quickly control output voltage. External analog voltage from 0 V to 10 V or current from 4 mA to 20 mA can control any or all outputs with input scaling of 0 to 100%. Galvanic isolation between the control voltage and the outputs simplifies connections while maintaining user safety even in floating circuit applications.
