NAVICS revolutionizes onboard communications by enabling freedom of movement throughout an entire ship, 24/7, with NAVICS WCS, an intuitive wireless communications system for uninterrupted, high-quality voice communications on the move. NAVICS WCS, a revolutionary wireless communications system, features smartphone-like ATEX wireless handhelds for wireless communications on board a ship.

An intuitive graphical user interfaces (GUI) allows the operator to access all voice and data communications securely at her/his fingertips. It connects users to the secure IP network, allowing them to enjoy the same internal communications functionalities of stationary voice terminals without being bound to a physical location, i.e., the same internal and external communications functionalities and initiation of announcements and alarms.

The system can be extended with further apps for messaging, logistics support, and personnel location, making usage of this naval smartphone easy and intuitive.
