A compact test solution to generate and analyze ultra-wideband signals has been demonstrated by Rohde & Schwarz at the LTE Innovation Summit 2015 in Del Mar, California. The setup is based on the R&S®SMW200A vector signal generator, the R&S FSW signal and spectrum analyzer and the R&S®RTO oscilloscope to test bandwidths up to 2 GHz. This makes the solution ideal for developing transceivers for 5G.
