Project Management : Project Manager (naval communications)

Your tasks

• Participation in the sales / project initiation phase, by analyzing customer requirements and checking their technical feasibility and transferability into a bid or project cost plan.
• Attend (if required) contract negotiations supporting Bid Manager.
• Involve the corresponding partners and stakeholders in the project initiation phase (external providers, project team, financial and logistic area, services area).
• Manage and monitor the project execution until customer acceptance.
• Negotiate changes in scope or planning, internally and with the customer.
• Tasks planning, lead assigned team and manage necessary means to comply with contracted milestones in time.
• Reporting on project status, risks and incidences.
• Monitor project financial status and predict future evolutions.
• Coordinate different multidisciplinary teams associated to the project.
• Lead project status meetings, internal and in front of customer.
• Assure project quality standards, security requirements and any other applicable standard in the sector, including military ones.

Your qualifications

• Engineering bachelor degree, or equivalent, in telecom, aeronautic, naval or industrial area.
• Advanced English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• 5 years of proven experience as Project Manager in defence or naval/aeronautic sector.
• Technical knowledge of Radiocommunications systems solutions and fundaments.
• Experience in global interaction with customers, partners, providers.
• High Leadership, communication skills and conflict resolution competences.
• Knowledge of planning tools, industry standards and best practices in project management (PMI)
