For wideband monitoring and measuring applications

The R&S®AC005 omnidirectional antenna covers the extremely wide frequency range from 0.5 GHz to 40 GHz in a two-dipole stacked configuration. The lower antenna operates from 0.5 GHz to 18 GHz and the upper antenna covers the frequency range from 18 GHz to 40 GHz. The R&S®AC005 is designed for slant polarization. Horizontally, vertically and circularly polarized signals can be received simultaneously. Thanks to its sturdy design, the R&S®AC005 is also suitable for naval applications.

No change of antennas required

The R&S®AC005 covers the extremely wide frequency range from 500 MHz to 40 GHz. This enables users to monitor signals in this frequency range without changing antennas, avoiding omnidirectional losses from additional antennas.

The R&S®AC005 omnidirectional antenna is designed as a purely passive antenna optimized for high sensitivity. The wideband design has been achieved without any attenuation measures to avoid decreasing antenna sensitivity.

The light weight and compact size are clear advantages of the R&S®AC005, making it easier to mount the antenna on commercial masts and even on standard tripods. Retrofitting on existing structures is also possible.
