Designed to resist jamming and interference, SATURN ensures robust communications links, making it the successor to the HAVEQUICK (HQ) waveform and the current NATO standard for secure military communications.
Future-proof tactical communications for NATO forces
SATURN has been adopted as the NATO Minimum Military Requirement (MMR) for air and maritime interoperability, ensuring seamless, jamming-resistant connectivity across air, sea, and selected ground platforms. SATURN radios are fully compatible with military crypto units, adding an extra layer of communications security (COMSEC). The SATURN waveform offers highly reliable transmission security (TRANSEC) that provides mechanisms to optimize the robustness of the RF link, making it an ideal successor to the legacy HQ waveform.
