DesignCon 2024: Rohde & Schwarz Invites Participants for its Digital Debug Design Challenge

DesignCon 2024 will witness Rohde & Schwarz demonstrate live cutting-edge industry innovations. Attendees can engage with the Rohde & Schwarz 'Are you a genius?' Digital Debug Design challenge, testing their industry acumen. Moreover, a comprehensive workshop awaits participants, delivered in collaboration with leading industry authorities from Samtec, Clear Signal Solutions, University of Colorado Boulder, and Missouri University of Science & Technology.

Rohde & Schwarz is bringing a new way to experience and demonstrate solutions for high speed digital applications at DesignCon 2024. At the Rohde & Schwarz booth, attendees can put their design knowledge to test with the Rohde & Schwarz Digital Debug Design challenge. Similar to DesignCon 2023, the challenges will take place during the DesignCon exhibit showfloor hours and will incorporate a series of lab challenges that evaluate individual participant’s measurement skills in signal integrity, power integrity, EMI debug, and multiport optimization.

Beyond the Digital Debug Design challenge, Rohde & Schwarz is set to provide attendees with an array of in-depth, technologically advanced demonstrations.These demonstrations include the new 8-channel R&S MXO 5 Series oscilloscope , which delivers breakthrough oscilloscope technology to speed up users’ understanding and testing of electronic systems. Another demonstration will feature the R&S ZNA vector network analyzer performing multilane 802.3ck compliance automation using the R&S ZNrun VNA automation suite.

Rohde & Schwarz is extending an invitation to all participants of the DesignCon trade show for a series of technical seminars free of charge. Hosted by engineering specialists and industry experts from Rohde & Schwarz, these seminars will be open to all DesignCon attendees from 8 am-5 pm on January 31 in the Great America Meeting Room 2. The seminars will delve into a variety of topics, including low impedance measurements on Power Distribution Network (PDN) components, challenges in high-speed digital Printed Circuit Board (PCB) channels, measuring load step responses on multi-phase buck converters, the basics of phase noise/jitter and power integrity, among others.

Rohde & Schwarz will be present at DesignCon, showcasing their latest products and innovations at booth 949, located within the Santa Clara Convention Center from January 31 to February 1, 2024.
