RTM/RTA: Measurement on several pulses of a train

Question

I want to do measurements on several pulses. How can I achieve that the measurement is done on a certain pulse of a sequence?

Answer

The models RTM3000 and RTA4000 just support one measurement gate. But there is a workaround if the measurement shall be done at two pulses:

If no gate is activated for a specific measurement, it will be done at the first pulse on the left side. By using an appropriate timebase and shifting the x-position you can achieve that the measurement is performed on the pulse you want. For the second measurement use the gate function. This can be done on any other pulse of the train.

The example shows a peak measurement for the first and for the third pulse.
