Key facts

  • Four individually accessible dipoles
  • High decoupling between individual dipoles
  • For naval applications
  • Ruggedized design for harsh environmental conditions

Stacked omnidirectional UHF TX/RX antenna for naval applications

The vertically polarized R&S®AD066ST omnidirectional UHF antenna covers the frequency range from 225 MHz to 400 MHz. Four dedicated receive/transmit systems with up to 200 W transmit power each can be used with the antenna. The antenna's decoupling characteristics, particularly between the upper and lower part, enable operation in receive and transmit mode even with close frequencies. The R&S®AD066ST has excellent omnidirectional characteristics and high gain.

Features & benefits

Four individually accessible dipoles

Saves space relative to individual antenna mountings

Four dedicated receive/transmit systems with up to 200 W transmit power each can be used with the antenna. This enables users to simultaneously connect a series of individual transmitters to a single antenna, reducing the space needed compared with conventional designs.

High decoupling between individual dipoles

For simultaneous use of multiple radio lines

The vertically polarized R&S®AD066ST omnidirectional antenna contains four independent radiators, each covering the frequency range from 225 MHz to 400 MHz. The antenna's decoupling characteristics, particularly between the upper and lower part, enable operation in receive and transmit mode even with close frequencies.

Ruggedized design

For naval applications

The R&S®AD066ST is especially designed to operate under harsh environmental conditions. The antenna can withstand high wind speeds, severe shocks and vibration exposure while also maintaining an extremely wide operating temperature range, making it ideal for naval applications.

DC grounding for lightning strike protection

For protecting personnel and equipment

All metallic parts of the R&S®AD066ST are DC grounded to direct potential overvoltage surges such as lightning strikes into the ground, protecting personnel and connected equipment.
