With optical isolation

The R&S®RT-ZISO isolated probing system can tackle the challenge of measuring in high voltage and fast switching environments. The power-over-fiber-optic architecture galvanically isolates the device under test (DUT) for the highest possible common mode rejection ratio (CMRR) at up to 1 GHz. The complete systems compensate thermal drifts and gain errors for the highest possible and uncompromising signal fidelity .

For fast common mode probing challenges

The R&S;®RT-ZISO isolated probing system suppresses interference from fast common mode signals with optical isolation for a CMRR of > 90 dB at 1 GHz. This helps with high-side gate measurements on complementary switching circuits especially wide bandgap devices.

Probe tips matter

The R&S®RT-ZISO comes in a variety of probe tips and the MMCX probe tip is the most important one for CMRR performance. Different connector types such as square pins and wide square pins are also supported with different attenuation ratios. The probe tip cables are long and formable for allow easy access to aa probe point with minimal mechanical stress.

Using the R&S®RT-ZISO with the Rohde & Schwarz probe interface on our oscilloscopes creates a seamless experience. The instrument detects and sets up the probe tip information. Offset and range control can be easily configured on the instrument. Users can also easily use all Rohde & Schwarz oscilloscope functions and features such as fast acquisition and responsive FFT in their measurements.
