VHF/UHF omnidirectional antenna for vertical polarization  

The R&S®HK033 VHF/UHF coaxial dipole is a vertically polarized omnidirectional antenna for stationary and mobile use, designed to operate under tough mechanical and climatic conditions and onboard ships. The antenna covers the receive and transmit frequency range from 80 MHz to 2000 MHz. The entire antenna system is splash water resistant. The antenna can be suspended or stand upright.

The R&S HK033 covers the extremely wide frequency range from 80 MHz to 2000 MHz. This saves cost and space for mounting multiple antenna systems. Omnidirectional coverage is not compromised by mounted antennas or mast structures nearby.

Protection against lightning strikes

Cares for security of personnel and equipment

The R&S®HK033 features strong protection against nearby lightning strikes. Direct lightning strikes can damage the antenna but the lighting energy is directed down to the ground through the antenna flange and the mast design. The mast must be in line with lightning protection regulations.

Very low wind load and rugged mechanical design

For tough mechanical and climatic conditions

The R&S®HK033 has a very low wind load. The antenna is also very sturdy and can withstand wind speeds of up to 240 km/h. It is designed for high shock and vibration requirements such as onboard ships and can be used in rough environments.

For easy installation

Thanks to its lightweight, rugged design, the R&S®HK033 keeps mast or mounting element requirements relatively low and does not unduly compromise antenna performance.
