Versatile and portable

The three-in-one vector network analyzer (VNA), spectrum analyzer (SA) and power meter for field and lab excellence

The R&S®ZNL helps reduce investment costs with a unique option concept. The base models support frequencies from 5 kHz to 20 GHz and they can be expanded to include a fully integrated spectrum analyzer and support RF power meters. Furthermore, spectrum analysis supports a CW signal generator option. Instead of investing in multiple instruments, research labs, service centers, universities and production facilities can use a single, compact instrument that offers even higher measurement speeds and better RF performance than dedicated instruments in comparable classes.

The R&S®ZNL with the R&S®FPL1‑K9 option supports an extensive list of external R&S®NRP power sensors. Four power sensors can be connected in parallel to the VNA and precise power measurements performed simultaneously.

Portable

Battery and DC power supply for field use

The optional battery pack makes the R&S®ZNL a fully portable instrument ideal for field use. The optional 12 V/24 V DC power supply can be used to operate the R&S®ZNL in vehicles. The optional R&S®FPL1-Z2 transport bag protects the instrument against damage and dirt during transport and field deployments. Side vents and a transparent top cover allow portable operation while the instrument remains safely in the bag. A carrying vest holster is also available.
