As a Defense and Security Senior Sales Manager at Rohde & Schwarz, you will be a key member of the sales team, responsible for driving business growth and revenue within the assigned division. Your primary focus will be developing and executing sales strategies, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring the successful deployment of our products and solutions within the Electronic Warfare (EW) and Communications markets

Your tasks

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the EW and Communications markets, including developing and executing sales plans to drive growth and revenue
  • Sales Strategy: Contribute to the development and execution of sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, including identifying new business opportunities and developing sales plans within the EW and Communications markets.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers within the EW and Communications markets, understanding their needs and preferences, and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up to date on the latest product offerings, features, and technologies, and provide expert advice to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Sales Operations: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage sales processes, including lead generation, qualification, and conversion, as well as sales forecasting, reporting, and analytics.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including Application Engineering, Marketing, Customer Support, and other sales teams, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Performance Metrics: Contribute to the tracking and analysis of sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to drive growth and revenue.

Your qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Economics or Business Management). Master’s degree is an advantage
  • 8+ years of experience in sales, preferably in a technical sales environment with a focus on the EW/SIGINT/Communications markets
  • Proven track record of sales success, to major integrators and/or end users (Submitting RFI/RFP, Negotiation and contracts)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and identify opportunities for growth within the EW and Communications markets
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with products or similar technologies within the EW/SIGINT/COMMUNICATION markets
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies, including sales forecasting, pipeline management, and sales analytics within the EW and Communications markets.
  • Veterans of the Ministry of Defense or IDF units that deal with Electronic Warfare (EW) will be given preference in the hiring process.
  • Relevant military experience and knowledge of EW systems and technologies will be highly valued.
  • Candidates with a strong understanding of the EW and/or Communications markets and their applications will be preferred.
  • High proficiency in English – German is an advantage
  • The office will relocate to Rishon LeZion stating 2025
