Project Management : Project Manager

Your tasks

• Reporting to the Head of Programs – Air Traffic Control / Air Defence, the Project Manager will be responsible for management of Rohde & Schwarz Australia delivery and/or sustainment project(s) to time, cost and quality (TCQ). In this role, you will:
• Manage all project activities and risk to ensure achievement of all project objectives and milestones;
• Lead the project team including engineers, technicians and project support staff to create revenue through managing and coordinating projects to TCQ;
• Conduct regular project performance reviews to ensure the project is on track;
• Develop costings, proposals and plans for survey and quote taskings and new opportunities;
• Collaborate with Sales, Service and other functions to generate value for our customers;
• Develop and continually improve stakeholder relationships including internal and external customers;
• Drive results by showing initiative and achieving results reliably, with broad perspective, pragmatism and persistence.

Your qualifications

• The successful applicant will have:
• Experience managing projects with substantial engineering and/or maintenance focus;
• Bachelor of Engineering or other relevant tertiary qualification;
• Recognition as a Project Management Practitioner;
• Strong analytical, attention to detail and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills;
• Customer focus and stakeholder management experience;
• Self-motivation and pride in completing quality projects within budget on time;
• Australian Citizenship, with eligibility to hold an Australian NV1 security clearance. Experience within the Aviation, Aerospace and/or Defence industry would be highly regarded. Current or ex Royal - Australian Air Force (RAAF) personnel are encouraged to apply.
