This is a unique opportunity to be part of an engineering organization with 90 years' experience in producing high quality, world-renowned test and measurement equipment. As our Application Engineer based in the Montreal area, you will be supporting the sales and marketing channel, demonstrating products, providing training and application support to our wide-ranging customer base in Canada.

Your tasks

Technical support for RF and microwave Test and Measurement instruments.
Develop and present local seminars and customer training sessions
Provide technical feedback to product line
Pre/Post-sales support, including customer demonstrations

Your qualifications

BSEE (or equivalent)
5+ years of working in a customer facing role as an application engineer
Experience working with test equipment including spectrum/signal analyzers, signal generators, vector network analyzers
Knowledge of communications protocols such as LTE, 5G, 4G, and WLAN an asset
Experience supporting customers with a solid understanding of current electronic industry
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer interface skills
Excellent problem solving skills
Ability to travel up to 50% within the region and occasional international travel
Instrument automation programming experience is a plus. (C/C++, Labview, Matlab, Python)
English/French speaking mandatory
The ideal candidate will be based in the Montreal area, however Ottawa residents may be considered based on qualifications.
