  • High efficiency

For transmission and reception

The linearly polarized R&S®AD016MC compact broadband TX antenna covers the wide transmit and receive frequency range from 800 MHz to 8 GHz. The mechanical design and weather protection make the antenna suitable for exposed positions and tough environmental conditions, such as those on board ships.

Features & benefits

Designed for long maintenance-free operation

For naval applications

All external metallic parts of the R&S®AD016MC are made from saltwater-resistant stainless steel. A low-loss weather-proof radome with a pressure compensation element seals the interior, making the antenna suitable for exposed positions and tough environmental conditions on ships.

Wide frequency range

Ideal for aeronautical radio communications

The R&S®AD016MC linear polarized compact broadband TX antenna covers the wide transmit and receive frequency range from 800 MHz to 8 GHz. The mechanically sturdy design makes the antenna ideal for aeronautical radiocommunications (such as LINK 16: 960 MHz to 1215 MHz).

Small size, compact design

For easy mounting and retrofitting

The R&S®AD016MC is very compact and lightweight for easy installation on a variety of masts and support structures.

High efficiency

For better communications performance

The R&S®AD016MC has a wide. load-free, operating frequency range for high efficiency and – together with optimally shaped radiation patterns – it has excellent communications performance.
