1 port to 24 ports calibrated - flexibly and conveniently

The R&S®ZN-Z15x calibration units make error-prone and time-consuming calibration procedures a thing of the past. Connect all the test cables once, use auto-detection and calibrate up to 24 ports at the stroke of a key. Even multiport systems (R&S®ZNB plus switch matrices or the R&S®ZNBT multiport units) are quickly and reliably calibrated. When using different Calibration Units for different applications, you can expect full flexibility: even a 2-port unit can calibrate any port number.

It is no problem to calibrate more ports than the R&S®ZN-Z15x offers. A step-by-step guide helps users calibrate every port number using a 2-port calibration unit, resulting in full n-port calibration.

User recharacterization

Get your R&S®ZN-Z15x ready for special test port connector type combinations

If standard connector types are not suitable for your setup, the R&S®ZNB/ZVA/ZNA FW allows recharacterization of your CalU: Connect an adapter to the CalU for characterizing the combination, making the adapter part of the CalU (requires a VNA calibrated with the desired connector types).

Auto configuration and detection

Plug and play calibration

The R&S®ZN-Z15x calibration units are automatically detected via the USB connection. All required data is transferred to the VNA. When starting the calibration, the connected test cables and port assignment can be found with a keystroke. The calibration can be launched with minimum effort, time and highest reliability.
