The R&S®Benchmarker 3 has a high-performance NUC computer module which is as powerful and reliable as the chassis-based modules but takes up less space.
The R&S®Benchmarker 3 also has improved passive probe cooling for more reliable and accurate data collection even when running high performance tests.

Compact design

Designed and ready for demanding campaigns

The compact and robust R&S®Benchmarker 3 design is ideal for large scale, demanding drive test benchmarking campaigns. The solid base plate makes mounting on drive test vehicles simple and stable. The grip on the top of the R&S®Benchmarker 3 smart mounting wall makes it easy to handle. The complete system including connected probes can be switched on or shut down simply by pressing the power button.

The R&S®Benchmarker 3 smart mounting wall has best in class passive cooling with a new probe cooling concept. Forced air circulates from the back and from beneath the device for the best passive probe cooling. All probes can be operated within the recommended temperature range even on long benchmarking campaigns. Reliable data collection means fewer repeat drives, increasing efficiency.

Future proof while including the installed base

Fully support for existing R&S®Benchmarking II systems

The new R&S®Benchmarker 3 is fully compatible with the existing installation base of the vehicle roof box (VRB) and Benchmarker II systems.
Vehicle roof box systems can use the new NUC based computing module and the R&S®Benchmarker 3 USB and power conditioning node module to control and power the probes in the TCMs
The R&S®Benchmarking II system can easily be enhanced with an R&S®Benchmarker 3 smart mounting wall to cool user equipment.

Measuring QoS and QoE from a real end-user perspective

All QoS and QoE tests are performed directly on the probes and the measurement results are from a real end-user perspective.
The wide range of supported service tests on the probes includes numerous data tests, app service tests, voice quality and video streaming quality tests as well as the interactivity test to measure ultra-low latency.
