Protection against high-energy interference pulses

The R&S®ESH3-Z2 pulse limiter protects the measuring receiver's input against high RF input levels and high-energy interfering pulses, e.g. when the EUT is switched on and off or during phase switching of an artifical mains network.

Design

The R&S®ESH3-Z2 pulse limiter consists of an overvoltage arrester, a 10 dB attenuator made up of carbon-film resistors and limiter diodes with low-pass compensation.
