Brief description

The R&S®RTO and RTP oscilloscope support with option bundle triggering and decoding of MIPI D-PHY based protocols DSI and CSI-2 and MIPI M-PHY physical layer and UniPro protocol layer. You can set up decoding in seconds. Results can be viewed as color-coded protocol components and/or in table format for analysis. Errors are identified using the hardware-accelerated trigger. You can trigger on protocol details and various error conditions.

Bus setup in seconds starting from the app cockpit

From the app cockpit, any protocol can be configured in only a few steps. Once the bus to be decoded has been chosen, the connected channels selected and the correct levels set, decoding begins automatically.

Color-coded protocol display

Protocol display as color-coded bus signals and in decode table

You can analyze the decoded bus frames by overlaying the signal with color-coded data. Address and data content can be displayed in hex, bin and ASCII format. Arrange your best overview with R&S SmartGrid. The protocols can also be displayed in a concise table.

The protocol-specific trigger lets you reliably isolate protocol events and errors. High acquisition rates make Rohde & Schwarz oscilloscopes ideal for finding errors quickly. Protocol-specific trigger results can then be decoded. Hardware-based triggering can be performed on specific protocol content, e.g. addresses, data and protocol errors.

Powerful search and navigation capabilities
 

Comprehensive search functions simplify the analysis of long signal sequences. Search for waveforms based on various criteria, such as signal faults and protocol content. All detected events are shown in a table with timestamps. The individual events can be examined in a zoom window with simple navigation between events.
