Sales and Product Management : Market Intelligence Analyst (m/f/d) Defense, Security & Critical Infrastructure

Your tasks

• Technology Scouting: Manage the flow of information gathered by company personnel, identifying emerging technologies and trends relevant to our business. Conduct comprehensive research on the defense, security, and critical infrastructure markets, utilizing a variety of sources.
• Competitive Analysis: Analyze competitor activity, strategies, and product offerings to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis). Track competitor developments and assess their potential impact on our market position.
• Market Research: Conduct in-depth studies (macro and micro as needed) to gain a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics, including customer needs, regulations, and economic factors.
• Reporting & Communication: Create regular market intelligence reports and briefings tailored for the division and board leadership.
• Collaborate with business development and marketing teams to translate market insights into actionable strategies, including lead generation and targeted marketing campaigns.

Your qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in market intelligence or a related field, preferably within the defense, security, or critical infrastructure sector.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into clear and concise insights.
• Experience in conducting research using a variety of sources, including industry reports, government publications, and competitor websites.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate market intelligence to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in market research methodologies and data analysis tools (e.g., SWOT analysis, Porter's Five Forces).
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines.
• Fluent German and English
