R&S®QPS Walk2000
Walk-through security scanner
After successful installations for loss prevention and the protection of critical infrastructure, the QPS Walk2000 impressed everyone at Security Conferences in Munich and Berlin.
Now, it's making its way into the aviation market where Fraport is the world's first airport to regularly use walk-through security scanner for passengers. The R&S QPS Walk2000 makes security checks faster and more convenient: travelers can simply walk through the scanner at normal speed.
Dallas Fort Worth International airport employs the R&S QPS Walk2000 walk-through scanner to support high-volume security screening at its employee screening checkpoints.

Automated personnel screening solution
The APS (Automated Personnel Screening) solution, a joint development by dormakaba and Rohde & Schwarz, is designed to make life easier for security staff and passengers. It uses artificial intelligence to help with checking postures, removing repetitive tasks from security workers, and reducing the need for repeat scans. Manual intervention at the exit of the dormakaba security gate is only required if objects are detected. The process is intuitive, contactless, works in any language, and significantly improves the passenger experience.

Airports are increasingly being networked for the sake of big data that allows meaningful statistics and improved passenger flows. The R&S QPS server delivers a wide range of features like remote control, advanced operational statistics, health monitoring and a broad suite of alarm information that will help to optimize processes and increase security.
